What’s it all about? Ready to level up your sewing game? This skill set picks up where the Industrial Sewing Skill Set (MSTSS00015) left off and dives into the more advanced techniques, think zips, bindings, sleeves, and mastering those tricky skills to a professional level. You'll also get hands-on experience with different fabric weights, to diversify your stitching to create complete, wearable garments! Who’s it for? This course is calling your name if you’ve already nailed the basics! To enrol, you’ll need to have either: • Completed the Industrial Sewing Skill Set (MSTSS00015) and don’t forget to show us your completion certificate when you enrol. OR • Be able to demonstrate industrial sewing skills. Outcomes of course? By the end, you won’t just be sewing, you’ll be constructing. After completing a portfolio of advanced samples: invisible zip, lapped zip, binding, bagging-out and bluffing curved seams. Setting you up with the skills to confidently tackle entire garments like skirts and short sleeved top and feel right at home using advanced machinery like buttonhole makers and button sewers.
