TAFE SA fashion courses help you develop the skills to succeed in the fashion industry. Courses include the Flinders University Bachelors of Creative Arts in fashion and costume design delivered in partnership with TAFE SA.
You’ll study product design and development, technology and garment production. Textiles, fashion illustration and pattern making are also covered, along with the business side of fashion.
Delivered in partnership, the Flinders University Bachelor of Creative Arts in Fashion gives students the best of both worlds by experiencing TAFE SA's strong practical instruction, as well as learning academic skills at Flinders University.
Together it creates a fantastic dual partnership qualification for those who are seeking employment in the fashion industry.
Bachelor of Creative Arts (Fashion) class of 2019 were inspired by feminism, ‘70s pop icons and ‘80s fashion trends featured at this year’s HomeStart Fashion Graduate Parade.
Twenty-four graduates of the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Fashion), a dual award offered by Flinders University and TAFE SA, took part in the parade at Flinders University on Saturday, February 8.
The annual parade is considered a launching pad for the emerging designers to showcase their work to not only family and friends but also key personnel in the SA fashion industry.
