SHORT COURSE

Wheel Throwing - Intermediate

Description

Build upon your fundamental knowledge and skills in wheel throwing at the Adelaide College of the Arts with one of our experienced lecturers, Jo Crawford or Phil Hart.

In this course you will be encouraged and assisted to create more challenging forms through a more focused approach. The course will cover altering thrown forms, additions such as handles lids and increased scale and production of editions/sets of ceramic vessels.

Students will be able to negotiate the forms they would like to focus on for the course and engage in a more focused approach to design, surface decoration and glaze. The class is informative but fun and students set their own pace.

Please wear safe closed-toe footwear (no thongs or sandals) and casual loose clothing. What to bring: your own tools if you have some, an apron and a small hand towel.

For organisations that wish to pay the student fees for this course and are unable to pay by credit card via the website, please contact the Short Course team via email on ShortCourses@tafesa.edu.au to organise a Third Party Payment invoice.
