Wheel Throwing - Intermediate

Description

In this course you will build upon your fundamental knowledge and skills in wheel throwing with one of our experienced lecturers, Jo Crawford or Phil Hart.

You will be encouraged and assisted to create more challenging forms through a more focused approach. The course will cover altering thrown forms, additions such as handles lids and increased scale and production of editions/sets of ceramic vessels.

Students will be able to negotiate the forms they would like to focus on for the course and engage in a more focused approach to design, surface decoration and glaze. The class is informative but fun and students set their own pace.

Please wear safe closed-toe footwear (no thongs or sandals) and casual loose clothing.

What to bring: Some basic tools, Apron, Small hand towel.

All short courses run subject to minimum numbers.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
