ITS_Database Fundamentals


This course will introduces you to foundational knowledge of how to design and query relational databases, such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle.

Core Skills:
- Database Design
- Database Object Model using DDL
- Data Retieval
- Data Manipulaytion using DML
- Troubleshooting

This course is intended for people who want learn database design and object management, data retrieval and manipulation, and related troubleshooting and write ANSI SQL statements and
troubleshoot syntax errors and runtime errors.

This course is at a beginner level.

    The Certification exam may be booked through TAFE SA at no additional cost (First attempt only). The exams are conducted only once at the end of every term. The exam may also be booked through Pearson Vue Test Centre located in Adelaide, however, you will need to pay for the cost of the certification exam yourself.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
