What's it all about?
This course has been designed by industry experts to offer current training that meets emerging industry needs. It's an introductory course for Fashion and Costume industry professionals that are wanting to upskill and develop a better understanding of the virtual sampling process.
The course is designed to meet industry expectations with a focus on the Australian point of view. It is about building learner proficiency in the practical aspects of using CLO3D, including virtual prototyping; adding textile print; graphics and CAD patternmaking. Learners will acquire knowledge of CLO3D's functionality in a practical and industry relevant way to meet national industry needs for sustainable manufacturing and enhanced environmental outcomes.

What you need to know
This course is online, self paced and takes approximately 15-20 hours. You will have access to the course for 90 days upon registration (information about access to the course will be sent within 2 business days). An Acknowledgement of Training will be available upon successful completion of the course and quizzes.
Outcomes of the course
- Understand the interface and basic functions of CLO3D
- Ability to create simple digital patterns
- Simulate patterns and drape fabrics onto a 3D avatar
- Apply prints, accessories, design detail and graphics to a project
- Create rendered images
