WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
Ready to take your love of coffee to the next level?
Our Introductory Barista Course is a hands-on, one-day (6.5 hour) non-accredited short course delivered in our Coffee Academy using commercial espresso equipment.
In this practical workshop you'll learn how to grind, extract and serve quality espresso. You'll also develop skills in calibrating a grinder, steaming and texturing milk, and preparing a range of cafe favourites - from short blacks to cappuccinos.

- Beginners wanting to learn the fundamentals of espresso coffee making

- Anyone interested in gaining practical, barista-style experience
OUTCOMES OF COURSE
By the end of this course, you will:
• Understand how to grind, dose and extract espresso
• Be able to steam and texture milk to create cafe-style drinks
• Prepare a variety of espresso-based beverages
• Gain knowledge in food safety and hygiene practices
• Gain practical knowledge of equipment care and cleaning
You will also receive an Acknowledgement of Training to recognise your achievement.
