The Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) has developed a partnership with TAFE SA to support professional development and education.

This micro-credential delivers fundamental knowledge of hydrogen and the Australian hydrogen energy sector. The course has been designed by industry to provide individuals and businesses with an understanding of the opportunities and challenges with hydrogen, safety aspects of hydrogen and the job opportunities in this growing sector.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
- AGIG offer the opportunity to complete the Hydrogen Fundamentals online micro-credential for its staff as part of its onboarding process, existing staff as professional development and to industry under the AGIG Trade Partners Program.
This course is intended for anyone interested in exploring the opportunities of diversifying their business, or their career, into the hydrogen sector.

- An Acknowledgement of Training will be available upon successful completion of the course requirements

- You have 4 weeks to complete the course once registered

COURSE CONTENT
Developed in collaboration with Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) the course includes videos and virtual tour of Hydrogen Park South Australia (HyP SA) where you will see the process of delivering renewable hydrogen gas to nearby homes via the existing gas network.

The following topics will be covered:
1. Hydrogen and its uses
2. Hydrogen’s advantages and challenges
3. Handling hydrogen
4. Hydrogen projects and job opportunities

As you progress through the topics, you will gain and enhance your knowledge of hydrogen.

COURSE OUTCOMES
Upon completion of this micro-credential you will be able to:
- Understand the basics of hydrogen
- Know the fundamentals of safe handling of hydrogen
- Consider how you or your business could participate in the hydrogen sector
