MSTSS00015 - Industrial Sewing Skill Set


Have you ever considered a job as a fashion or textiles machinist, sewing fashion garments through to industrial textiles? Increased industry demand for machining skills has prompted the creation of an Industrial Sewing Skill Set that we will deliver from 2021. This course will give you entry level sewing skills working on industrial sewing machinery and will also cover machine maintenance to keep the machine performing at its best. No previous sewing are skills required.

  • Completion of the Training Account Consent Form - you are required to upload a completed form at the time of enrolment. You can download a copy of the form under the Files & Resources tab below.

    This course is subsidised by the government and you must meet criteria to be eligible for the subsidised rate - you can find the eligibility criteria under the Files & Resources tab below.
  • Perform industrial sewing on textile products (MSTTX2014)

    Set up, adjust and maintain industrial sewing machines (MSTTX3014)

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
