Meghan O'Rourke presents Introduction to Jewellery Making

Description

Learn how to make jewellery with Meghan O'Rourke. This short course introduces participants to basic skills used to create silver jewellery, including saw piercing, filing, soldering, polishing, decorative finishes and basic design principles.

Learners will be guided through the design and creation of a neck pendant and finger ring. All sterling silver, brass, copper, tools and equipment will be provided.

What to Bring: Sketch/notebook, pen and pencil.

Dress Code: Neat, casual. Closed footwear (no sandals or high heels). Hair tied back.

This short course is offered as an intensive short course during the AC Arts Summer School in January. Summer School students will receive additional studio time.
