This qualification defines the skills and knowledge required of a detail draftsperson producing specialist engineering drawings within metal, engineering, manufacturing and associated industries. The skills gained in this qualification can be applied across manufacturing, defence, infrastructure, construction, mechanical services, fabrication, energy and other engineering-related sectors. To complete the qualification, you are required to complete all 4 core units and 11 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
