This nationally-recognised qualification in Water Industry Operations (Networks) is designed for people already working in the field. You will learn how to operate and maintain water network systems. This specialisation covers the essential competencies and knowledge required to monitor, operate, and maintain network operations. Learn about water industry standards, excavation and pipe-laying, installations and repairs, pump stations, transfer systems, and water quality in this hands-on course. And it has the support of all the major water utilities and providers in the industry so you know it’s a qualification you can trust.

    The qualification covers skills and knowledge to obtain a broad range of skills in the water industry. It allows staff to apply operational and procedural practices under the appropriate level of supervision. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 2 core units and 9 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
