Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start)
(UEE22020)
Students complete 12 units covering the knowledge and skills typical of those performed by apprentices in the early stages of training. 9 units are transferable into the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (apprentice) course reflecting most of the training of a first year apprentice. The content of this course includes theoretical understandings and practical tasks. Theoretical knowledge includes electrical principles, cable and component identification and Practical tasks such as house wiring, light fabrication and circuit construction. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 8 core units and elective units totalling 140 points.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
