The first thing you need to do is to speak to your school's career counsellor or VET coordinator to make sure you meet the conditions for entry.
Key eligibility criteria include, that you must be:
Enrolled in Year 10, 11 or 12 and employed in a Training Contract that combines VET and school-based curriculum including SACE
If you meet the above conditions, then your VET coordinator will submit a School Student VET Referral to Training Form to TAFE SA (link provided below). From there, before you start your course, you’ll need to complete a VET Readiness Orientation. More information about VET Readiness Orientation is available here.
