WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

This course is designed for small business owners, employees and bookkeepers who want to develop practical skills using Xero. You will learn how to set up and operate a computerised accounting system and gain confidence with the essential functions required for day-to-day business financial management.

This course covers how to:

- Set up and operate a computerised accounting system in Xero
- Create and manage accounts, tax codes and contacts
- Enter and process sales and purchases
- Prepare, match and process receipts
- Process payment documentation
- Manage daily business accounts
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Apply key business processes within Xero software

WHO'S IT FOR?

This course is ideal for:
- Small business owners managing their own accounts
- Employees responsible for basic financial administration
- Bookkeepers looking to upskill or transition to Xero

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

- Online, self-paced delivery
- 8 week course duration
- It is recommended that you commit 6-8 hours of study per week to complete the course within the 8 week timeframe
- The course includes two (2) unsupervised assessments consisting of practical, written and verbal tasks

OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE

By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Confidently navigate and use Xero for daily business transactions
- Set up and maintain a functioning Xero accounting system
- Process sales, purchases, receipts and payments
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Apply key bookkeeping processes using Xero
