Pest Management Technician endorsed for Control of Vertebrate Pest - TAFESA Students

Description

This course provides the necessary accreditation for persons wanting to be endorsed in the control of vertebrate pests. The course will cover a range of topics including an overview of vertebrate pests in Australia, animal biology and behaviour, trapping and control techniques, safe handling, legislation, signage, and much more.

Assessment will include a short practical assessment onsite and a written assignment to be submitted within 6 weeks of completion of workshop.

*Please wear appropriate clothing for outdoors and closed in shoes*

Upon completion, students may be eligible to apply for a Pest Control License. Further information regarding licensing can be found through SA Health - Guide to Pest Control Licensing Brochure (please refer to Files and Resources below)

  • All students must hold a valid Chemical Card at the time of enrolment and are required to provide evidence of this.
