Industry Conditions and Skills
You will require access to a farm to practice and complete all assessment requirements.

Additional Uniforms, Equipment and Costs
You will need to buy and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety boots and appropriate workwear (eg sun protection (hat), long pants, long sleeve shirt)-(approximately $100 - $200). Incidental items - $50.00 for other personal protective equipment (eg gloves, safety glasses and spray suit)



This course is part of the Fee Free TAFE initiative. Fee Free places are limited and eligibility criteria applies. If all Fee Free TAFE places have been allocated, you may be offered a subsidised place instead.

    Certificate II in Agriculture (AHC20122)
    This qualification enables individuals to select a livestock production or cropping context as a job focus or, in the case of mixed farming enterprises, both. To complete the qualification, you are required to complete all 4 core units and 12 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
