Description

Find your future in plastering and rendering with this trade course for apprentices. You’ll gain the essential skills you need to work on both commercial and residential construction sites. Learn from industry professionals as you get hands-on practical experience. This nationally recognised course includes erecting and dismantling scaffolding, doing accurate measurements and calculations, handling solid plastering materials, preparing surfaces for plastering, and the safe use of plastering tools and equipment. Learn how to finish floors, walls, and ceilings. Be creative with decorative mouldings and heritage work or be fully contemporary working on new builds.

    Certificate III in Solid Plastering (CPC31020)
    This course will develop the skills and knowledge you need to have a successful career in the building and construction industry as a solid plasterer. You will learn how to finish walls, floors and ceilings in gypsum and Portland cement plasters, and construct various mouldings, textured finishes and ornamental restoration work. 15 core units plus 5 electives.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
