Curriculum Licensing

Curriculum developed for TAFE SA courses are prepared by subject specialists and practitioners who consult with local business and national industry skills councils.

Our curriculum provides:

background and purpose to the curriculum framework;
the expected program of study and course outcomes;
unit of competency details;
guidelines for delivery and assessment strategies.

TAFE SA develops and owns the Intellectual Property (IP) Rights of the curriculum, for delivery of the course(s) and can licence the right to other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to use our IP, brand, of accredited course content.

TAFE SA will agree to use of the curriculum framework for delivery pursuant to a signed licence agreement.

You will be charged an annual licence fee for use of the curriculum for delivery of the course at your principal location. An additional fee will be charged for use of the curriculum for delivery at each additional location where the curriculum is to be delivered.
