Become a qualified florist

Study the principles and techniques of floristry design, including hand-tied, wired and base medium floristry products. Topics include responding to a design brief, design drawing techniques, use and care of equipment, flower and plant material identification, and retail skills.

Floristry Studio

Your floristry career will flourish within the purpose-built floristry studio centrally located at TAFE SA's Adelaide campus on Currie Street. The floristry space is a working studio that simulates a real floristry business with fridges, wet areas, individual workspaces, preparation areas and current delivery technology.

The studio’s close proximity to nearby flower wholesalers and other creative industry programs ensures an environment where training blooms and students blossom.
