TAFE SA's introductory short courses for school students are designed for students in Year 10 and Year 11. They provide the opportunity to learn specific industry skills, all while students undertake their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). This course assists students in developing the skills and knowledge required to perform basic handling and restraint procedures; general health checks; and administration of health care treatments, on multiple animal species. In addition, students will learn how to source and provide information on specific animal products and services, to team members or clients.
