SHORT COURSE

Brewing Level 2: Customising Your Beer (Extract Brewing)

Description

What's it all about?
Uncover the craft behind one of the world's oldest and most beloved beverages in this comprehensive brewing course that blends theory with hands-on experience.

Explore the rich history of beer and dive into the core ingredients - malt, hops, water and yeast, and learning how each influences flavour, aroma and body.

Gain a solid understanding of key brewing stages, including fermentation and maturation, where raw ingredients are transformed into the finished product.

In the practical component, sharpen your sensory evaluation skills by assessing malt and hops, and take part in brewing sessions using both extract and wort kits.

Who's it for?
Craft Beer Your Own Way is an intermediate course that enables homebrewers to produce more flavoursome beers by adding extra ingredients into extract kits – intended for people who have completed From Kit to Craft: Brewing Great Beer at Home (Basics) or have hands-on experience with DIY home brew kits.
