This course provides the skills and knowledge required to maintain a computerised or manual general ledger system within an organisation, including processing journal entries and preparing a trial balance.

This course is designed for those who wish to work with simple accounting functions within an organisation and provide administrative support within a business, or as a member of staff with delegated responsibilities relating to general ledger maintenance. It covers processing journal entries and preparing a trial balance.

  • Students must have basic literacy and numeracy skills and must be familiar with using a personal computer
