This course focuses on the knowledge of associate-level cyber operations including security concepts, security monitoring, host-based analysis, network intrusion analysis, and security policies and procedures.
-Handle the tasks, duties, and responsibilities of an associate-level Security Analyst working in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
-Detect and respond to security incidents
-Investigate endpoint vulnerabilities and attacks.
-Analyse network intrusion data to verify potential exploits.
-Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills
This course prepares you for the following certification exams:
Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate Certification (200-201 CBROP)
Certification exams can be booked through Pearson Vue Test Centres located in Adelaide. In some cases, vouchers for the certification exam may be available through TAFE SA at no additional cost (otherwise students will need to pay for the cost of the certification exam themselves).
