SHORT COURSE

Cafe Culture

Description

What’s it all about?
Love coffee? Obsessed with food? You’re in the right place.
This hands-on course is all about mastering the art of espresso and whipping up café-style food that looks (and tastes) amazing.

You’ll dive into the world of coffee, from its rich history to learning how to grind, extract and pour like a professional. Get ready to steam silky milk, serve up perfect lattes and cappuccinos, and keep that coffee machine sparkling clean.
In the kitchen, we’ll turn up the heat and get creative with gourmet sandwiches and stylish café dishes that’ll make your Instagram jealous.

Who’s it for?
This course is for anyone wanting to work or enhance their skills in the South Australia hospitality scene.

Whether you're behind the machine perfecting a latte or plating up the latest brunch trend, you'll find yourself in an industry that’s constantly evolving and full of personality. From heritage laneways to cutting-edge matcha bars, working in a café here means you are being part of something vibrant, social, and ever evolving – where your skills, personality, and passion for good food and coffee are truly valued.

What you need to know?
You’ll get a mix of accredited and non-accredited training – so you will walk away with ready to use skills that are nationally recognised. The Cafe Style Food component is non-accredited.

All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a love for good coffee and food. We'll take care of the rest.
