Personal Safety Training for Women is a program that has been specifically designed for women of all ages and backgrounds to increase their own personal safety and protection. Too many times we hear about toxic situations and the negative impact they can have on women's lives. Having the ability to identify personal risks and react to harm using a variety of techniques can help to increase your confidence.
This short course, run across two evening sessions, adopts a holistic approach to safety by teaching physical, psychological and non-verbal strategies essential for personal growth, including:
- Confident and assertive body language;
- Protective communication;
- Escape techniques;
- Safety in public places and on public transport;
- Identifying personal strengths and qualities
The training will help to develop an understanding of the reasons and need for personal safety and protection, as well as providing you with strategies to minimise personal risk in a range environments and situations.
