Be prepared to save someone’s life in an emergency. In this course you will gain the necessary skills to maintain breathing and circulation in an adult or infant following cardiac arrest. Students are trained by Paramedics and other health professionals with extensive industry experience, providing authentic learning opportunities for dealing with emergency situations.
On successful completion of the course, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment in:
• HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is recommended for renewal every 12 months as per the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines and First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice.

Before attending the face-to-face workshop, students will need to complete the e-Learning which can be undertaken in one sitting or over several sessions. The time required to complete the e-Learning will vary based on the student’s learning ability and/or previous experience.
