SHORT COURSE

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Description

Be prepared to save someone’s life in an emergency situation. In this course you will gain the necessary skills to maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following cardiac arrest. Learn from current paramedics and gain insight into dealing with emergency situations.

It is recommended that CPR training is re-certified annually.

  • Participants must be 14 years or older and will be required to complete a self-assessment form prior to attending training. During First Aid training participants will be required to work at a range of height levels. Participants will also be required to kneel for a minimum of two (2) minutes for Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) assessment and to roll onto your back, side and/or stomach. Please wear appropriate clothing for practical skills assessment at ground level.

Given the fast-paced nature of this one-day delivery format, it is highly recommended that participants complete the pre-reading prior to attendance. For more information, please see Additional Files & Resources under the list of delivery locations on this page.
