FBPSS00003 - Cake and pastry baking for bread bakers skill set

Description

This skill set provides the basic skills, knowledge and understanding on what it is like to start a career in the baking industry.

Students will learn sponge cakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, puddings, biscuits, macarons, pies, sweet tarts, eclairs, croissants, Danish pastry's and brioche.

A bakers uniform and equipment set must be purchased prior to the course. Approximate cost for uniform is $102 & $315 for equipment. Further information on items required and where to purchase will be sent to students once registration is received.

South Australian State Government funding subsidies apply for this course. Eligibility criteria apply. The full course cost applies for students who are not eligible for State Government funding subsidies. Check your eligibility here: www.mytraining.skills.sa.gov.au

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.

Cost Information
This delivery is offered under South Australian Government funding subsidies. You might be eligible for subsidised training if you live or work in South Australia, and are: an Australian or New Zealand Citizen; a Permanent Australian Resident or an eligible Visa holder and are 16 years of age or over. For those ineligible for State Government subsidies, the full course cost of $2309.00 will apply.
