SHORT COURSE

Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (TAELLN411) - Upgrade Unit

Description

Would you like to enhance your skills as a vocational trainer or assessor? This course will provide you with the required skills and knowledge to identify language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skill requirements and help you to use resources and strategies to meet the needs of the learner group.

By completing this course, you will comply with the Standards for registered training organisations (RTOs) 2015 – a requirement for all trainers and assessors who deliver VET-accredited training.

Participants will be provided access to learning resources and assessment material in an online learning environment. Our qualified and experienced TAE facilitators will provide support and guidance through online forums.

Our blended model incorporates a 1-day interactive workshop where participants will develop the skills and knowledge to navigate the ACSF, identify LLN demands and skills, and identify and use LLN support strategies in a VET context.

Participants will require access to three adult learners to whom they will deliver training incorporating delivery and assessment strategies that address identified language, literacy and numeracy skill needs.

Please note that completion of this short course requires additional homework and assessment outside of class time when studied in a face to face format.

For organisations that wish to pay the student fees for this course and are unable to pay by credit card via the website, please contact the Student Engagement & Onboarding team via email on SEOShortCourses@tafesa.edu.au to organise a Third Party Payment invoice.
