TAESS00029 - Volunteer Trainer Delivery Skill Set

Description

This skill set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who deliver training in Registered Training Organisations (RTO) or volunteer organisation settings.

These units provide credit towards TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and other qualifications that allow for selection of these units.

This skill set is for volunteers who deliver training to other volunteers in the workplace and those working in non-accredited delivery. This training is designed to support the essential skills of volunteer trainers, such as in emergency service organisations. The role may involve some coaching at individual or small group level.

  • Completion of the Training Account Consent Form - you are required to upload a completed form at the time of enrolment. You can download a copy of the form under the Files & Resources tab below.

    This course is fee free via a joint initiative of the Australian and South Australian Governments and you must meet criteria to be eligible for a fee free place. Please note - you can only have 2 active subsidised training accounts open at any given time.
  • Make presentations (BSBCMM411)

    Provide work skill instruction (TAEDEL311)

  • During this course participants will plan, prepare session plans and deliver three (3) face to face work skills instruction sessions of 30 minutes duration to a group of at least 2 learners, with one (1) session of 30 minutes duration to an individual learner.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.

Virtual Classroom study using Blackboard Collaborate, plus online Learn work - practical assessments required on campus.

You will be contacted via email 1 week prior to the start date with an invitation to attend an online orientation and introduction session.

Monday 28 July 6:00pm – 9:00pm - Online
Monday 4 August 9:30am – 3:00pm - On Campus
Monday 11 August 9:30am – 3:00pm - On Campus
