Description

This module covers an understanding of financial service industry practices and compliance requirements, professional development, maintaining ethical principles, office technology and workplace health and safety procedures.

Skills Covered:
1. Select, use and maintain a range of business technology. This technology includes the effective use of computer software to organise information and data
2. Participate in workplace occupational health and safety (OHS) processes to protect the workers own health and safety, and that of others
3. Identify industry professional approaches to procedures, guidelines, policies and standards, including ethical requirements, and to model and meet expectations of these in all aspects of work

This course has either written or oral supervised assessment. Students will require access to Skype video chat for assessment purposes.

  • Contribute to health and safety of self and others (BSBWHS201)

    Apply principles of professional practice to work in the financial services industry (FNSINC401)

    Use business technology (BSBWOR204)
