Basic Carpentry for Women

Description

Learn how to safely use basic hand tools and power tools to assist with minor home maintenance projects, such as hanging picture frames on different types of walls, fixing fly screens and much more. As the course progresses you will have the opportunity to tailor the skills covered to your own individual interests.

Over the 8 weeks you will also gain woodwork skills and learn how to make a wooden stool, which you will get to take home at the end of the course.

This course provides a great social opportunity, all whilst learning and applying new skills with confidence.

The course fee includes $50 materials costs. You will not be required to bring any materials, everything will be provided, including protective eyewear.

Dress code: appropriate workwear and enclosed, flat shoes.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
