Health Administration - Maintain Confidentiality, Privacy and Security


The course is suitable for those who wish to develop the skills and knowledge required to apply principles and procedures relating to confidentiality, privacy and security to their own work within the health/medical environment.

This course is designed for those who wish to maintain confidentiality, privacy and security under legislation, and workplace policies and procedures in a health/medical environment. This course covers working within accepted codes of conduct and following confidentiality, privacy and security provisions.

  • Students must have basic literacy and numeracy skills and must be familiar with using a personal computer
  • Apply the principles of confidentiality, privacy and security within the medical environment (BSBMED305)
