Health Administration - Workplace Health and Safety Practices


This short course is suitable for those who wish to develop the skills to work as a health administration officer who applies a broad range of administrative tasks in a medical centre or hospital environment.

The course has been designed for those who wish to participate in safe work practices to ensure their own health and safety, and that of others in a health context. The course applies to all workers who require knowledge of workplace health and safety (WHS) to carry out their own work, either under direct supervision or with some individual responsibility.

Topics covered in this course include:
- Follow safe work practices;
- Implement safe work practices;
- Contribute to safe work practices in the workplace;
- Reflect on own safe work practices.

  • Students must have basic literacy and numeracy skills and must be familiar with using a personal computer

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
