SHORT COURSE

Organising Thoughts Through Art

Description

This course will explore the ways in which we can use our conscious and unconscious mind to express and organise our thoughts in a creative form. By employing the medium of collage we will engage the subconscious mind to pictorially reflect how different aspects of your life and your aspirations can fit together.

You will gain an insight into your own wellbeing and an understanding of art therapy techniques and how they can be used both personally and professionally to harness creativity, think outside of the box and achieve your goals.

No previous art experience is required.

Please bring along old magazines and newspapers to share.

This course is recommended for those aged 21 and over due to the reflective and emotional nature of the content.

  • Clients experiencing mental illness or emotional vulnerability are kindly requested to seek written consent from their doctor as exploration may possibly bring up sensitive or challenging issues.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
