Attendance Requirements (subject to change)
Kadina delivery - This course will be available Part Time, one day per week (Tuesday’s) running from January to the end of October. The course intends to combine students in the same classes for common units of competence as part of the Certificate II in Horticulture and Certificate II in Agriculture to maximise student experience. Students will be required to separate into their Horticulture or Agriculture specific units at various times during the course.

Industry Conditions and Skills
You will require access to a farm to practice and complete all assessment requirements.

Additional Uniforms, Equipment and Costs

  • You will need to purchase and wear your own general Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety boots and appropriate workwear (eg hat, pants and shirt)
  • You will be required to purchase an additional PPE Pack for $45.
    The PPE pack has all the personal protective equipment that is required to carry out practical assessments and contains gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection and spray suit.

    Certificate II in Agriculture (AHC20122)
    This qualification enables individuals to select a livestock production or cropping context as a job focus or, in the case of mixed farming enterprises, both. To complete the qualification, you are required to complete all 4 core units and 12 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
