Description

Build your career as a bricklayer, blocklayer, or paver with this comprehensive trade course for apprentices. Develop your hands-on skills in all aspects of the trade including laying bricks and blocks using different bonds, building fire brick walls, and how to construct ornamental panels, feature walls, arches and columns. Learn about plans and specifications, planning and organising jobs, and working safely and sustainably.     Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying (CPC33020)
    This course will provide you with the skills to read and interpret plans and specifications, apply basic levelling procedures, carry out measurements and calculations, handle and prepare bricklaying and blocklaying materials, and use bricklaying and blocklaying tools and equipment. 20 core units plus 8 electives.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
