Description

Keen to become a fully qualified air-conditioning and refrigeration mechanic? This is the course you need. This comprehensive Certificate lll course gives apprentices a thorough grounding in all aspects of refrigeration and air-conditioning. Learn the competencies required to select components, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment that apply to food storage and preservation, air conditioning and air distribution equipment in buildings and premises. It also covers the regulatory requirements for purchasing and handling refrigerants and all OHS requirements.

    Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE32220)
    This qualification provides competencies to select components, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment that apply to food storage and preservation, air conditioning and air distribution equipment in buildings and premises. It includes regulatory requirements for purchasing and handling refrigerants. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 27 core units and elective units totalling 140 points.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
