Enter the exciting world of screen and media makeup with this comprehensive Diploma. Master the foundational skills in beauty, airbrushed, and fashion make-up, including makeup for photographic shoots.     Diploma of Screen and Media (Specialist Make-Up Services) (CUA51020)
    The course starts with beauty, photographic, airbrushed and fashion makeup, including photographic shoots, then progresses to theatrical and screen special effects makeup including trauma; bald caps; hair and beard application; blood effects; aging; and body painting. The course delivers basic to advanced creative hair styling and graduates will confidently enter the industry and successfully style hair and wigs for photography, films and theatrical productions of varying eras. The course culminates with students designing, sculpting, fabricating, airbrushing and applying encapsulated-silicone and foam latex prosthetics, to create an entire original character. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 4 core units and 11 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
