Description

Develop your specialist arboriculture knowledge and skills with this nationally recognised qualification. Learn what it takes to be a climbing arborist, EWP (elevated work plant) arborist, or ground-based arborist. Learn how to identify and inspect trees for access and work, dismantle trees, implement tree maintenance and protection programs, use arborist climbing techniques, trim and cut felled trees, fell trees manually, and perform pruning operations. Make it your own by choosing the course electives that match your workplace requirements.

    This course provides skills in inspecting trees for access and work, pruning operations, business technology, chainsaws, first aid and workplace safety. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 9 core units and 9 elective units.

    Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
