- This course is only available to students who don't meet the academic entry of Year 12 or overseas equivalent. Students with Year 12 or overseas equivalent should apply directly into either the Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Accounting.
- Students may wish to package this Certificate IV in Accounting with either the Diploma of Accounting (for a further 2 semesters) or the Advanced Diploma of Accounting (for a further 1 semester after Diploma).
- Please be advised that the Accounting courses are under review and will be superseded with new Accounting qualifications from 2019. This may affect course duration and fees.
Qualifications & Skills Covered
Certificate IV in Accounting
This qualification covers a range of skills for the financial service sectors including computer accounting, business tax and BAS preparation, financial statements, legal decisions, budgeting and spreadsheets. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 10 core units and 3 elective units.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
