WHAT IS A PATHWAY TO SCREEN & MEDIA?
A pathway program is a free course* training students in the relevant skills that employers are looking for.
Through the Pathway to Screen & Media program, participants are taught skills needed to start working in film & TV settings.

SKILLS GAINED
Students who successfully complete the course have the skills to:
> operate digital cameras & work with a variety of film & TV equipment
> work in a production crew & apply industry terminology
> capture high quality images & sound
> use industry standard editing software
> construct program segments for short films and/or music videos

Entry Recommendations
You will need to have good skills in reading and writing in English, oral communication, numeracy and digital literacy.

Attendance Requirements (subject to change)

  • Classes are held 3 days a week between 9.30 and 4.00pm.
  • Classes are run during school terms over a semester.

We recommend that you enjoy creating video content, are interested and film, TV and media and are interested in working and collaborating with others.
