This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of commercial practices within the Printing, Design and Graphic Arts industries. The qualification guides individuals through an intense studio-based program using industry standard software and digital output devices. Students are taught high-level technical production, graphic design and pre-press skills, enabling them to see their entire design project through from initial concept to final production.

This course is subsidised through the Government of South Australia's Subsidised Training initiative. Assessing your eligibility may include participation in a Language, Literacy and Numeracy pre-assessment. Concessions apply to Subsidised Training only.

    • Reading, writing and numeracy skills are assessed using the Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA). This assessment is used to determine whether you will be required to undertake additional support units alongside your qualification or undertake a pathway course before commencing your chosen qualification. If you receive an offer, more information will be provided at your enrolment session.
    • Students will be required to purchase a licence for Adobe Creative Cloud - approx. $30/month.

    This course incorporates topics such as design, web construction, digital printing on wide format and document machines and producing print ready files used for multiple purposes. Explore commercial practices within the printing, design and graphic arts industries through an intense studio-based program using industry standard software and digital output devices. To complete the qualification you are required to complete all 4 core units and 17 elective units.
