This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Job role titles may include: Enterprise Trainer; Enterprise Assessor; Registered Training Organisation (RTO) Trainer; RTO Assessor; Training Advisor or Training Needs Analyst; Vocational Education Teacher.
Note: Completion of a TAFE SA course does not guarantee an employment outcome. Formal requirements other than educational qualifications (eg licensing, professional registration), may apply to some occupations.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
This course is for those who are responsible for training and assessment to meet identified competency requirements in the workplace or within the Vocational Education and Training sector. If you elect to only do a certain number of units of competency within this qualification, you will receive a Statement of Attainment. 7 core units plus 3 electives.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
