Design drafting is one of the fundamental elements of the building and construction engineering process and is constantly changing as the sector adopts new computer technologies The course gives you the skills and knowledge you need to confidently use industry-standard design drafting software including the three leading drafting software packages AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil3D. You’ll also learn about using Building Information Modelling, or BIM, to create collaborative engineering solutions. Course Admission Requirements

  • Certificate III or higher in an Engineering related area
  • Completion of a recognised foundation or bridging course
  • Completion of at least six months full-time equivalent in a relevant degree course at a higher education institution
  • SACE completion or equivalent with Year 12 Specialist Mathematics OR Mathematical Methods OR General Mathematics or equivalent
  • Satisfactory achievement in the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) with a minimum score of 140
