This course improves further training and employment prospects by developing communication, literacy and numeracy skills to meet a variety of personal, social and employment requirements.
On completing this certificate, students may have the opportunity to work within a business, office, trade or community services, clerical or hospitality environment. However, this course is generally a pathway to further study.

Certificate II in Education and Skills Development
The Certificate II is comprised of 8 core units and 6 elective units and aims to provide students with the skills, knowledge and self-confidence necessary to make informed realistic choices about education or employment pathways. It seeks to develop a range of general literacy, communication, numeracy and employment skills as well as offering studies in a range of personal development subjects.
Note: Students who successfully complete only one or more units of competency but not the full Qualification are eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
