TAFE South Australia's orientation program

During TAFE South Australia's orientation program you will have the opportunity to meet other international students as well as receive important information that you need to know as an international student. The orientation program not only provides you with important information, it is also takes you through parts of your enrolment process, so attendance is compulsory.

An orientation timetable will be available at the International Unit of TAFE SA.

Orientation covers the following areas

Campus tours this will be conducted at your specific campus during course induction.
Tours of your campus, and some tours of the city may be held. You'll also be given information on living in South Australia. 

Your obligations

You'll be told about your attendance requirements and how to make sure you meet the conditions of your student visa.

Overseas Student Health Care - OSHC
You will receive some information on OSHC at orientation. If you have paid the fee, you'll receive your OSHC card soon after orientation.

ID cards
New students obtain their student ID cards during orientation week.

Enrolment information
Enrolment sessions are held for each course after orientation and before classes commence. At these sessions you will receive information specific to your course, including your class timetable. The enrolment sessions for every course will be emailed to you and are announced at orientation.
