TAFE SA visual arts courses offer study in a variety of disciplines in purpose-built studios. You’ll explore traditional and contemporary fine arts practices in installation, moving image and sound. You'll also learn business and entrepreneurial skills to build a career in the arts. You can choose to specialise in ceramics, digital media, drawing, painting, jewellery, photography, printmaking or sculpture. The Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Arts) is delivered in conjunction with Flinders University.

Become a professional photographer

TAFE SA qualifications in photography prepare you for a career in the photographic and allied industries. You’ll study all aspects of photography and photo imaging, including digital post processing. Topics include lighting, enhancing digital images and digital art techniques. Learn how to produce images for purposes including media, commercial, and domestic portraits. You’ll also build the skills and knowledge needed to set up your own business.

Our focus is on promoting exceptional contemporary artists, including emerging artists, recent TAFE SA graduates and our acclaimed lecturing team.
