SHORT COURSE

Preparing to undertake the Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA)

Description

The Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA) is a tool designed to indicate reading, writing and numeracy/maths skills. TAFE SA use this information to assess if you will need any learning support during your studies and to assist your lecturer in personalising your training.

Some qualifications require CSPA as part of Course Admissions Requirements when applying for a place at TAFE SA. If you wish to access subsidised training, you will need to complete the CSPA. The CSPA may also be used to assess your academic suitability for VET Student Loans.

This short course has been developed to assist you in preparing for the CSPA. You will receive important information about the key areas that are included in the assessment to help you prepare in your own time.

*Please Note - This course is Not the actual assessment*

Topics covered include:
- An overview of the CSPA and what it is used for;
- What to expect on the day and tips for completing the assessment;
- Tips and tricks for preparing, including access to external resources to assist you.

For more information on the CSPA visit: www.tafesa.edu.au/apply-enrol/cspa

For organisations that wish to pay the student fees for this course and are unable to pay by credit card via the website, please contact the Short Course team via email on shortcourses@tafesa.edu.au to organise a Third Party Payment invoice.
