Prepare to Drive - Obtain your Learner's Permit

Description

Looking to get your Learner's Permit? This short course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to obtain your Learner’s Permit quickly and reduce your stress levels.

This course is suitable for individuals who require support in reading and responding to visual and graphic texts. Instead of completing the Learner’s Permit test with Service SA, you will complete your assessment with TAFE SA.

IMPORTANT – Participants must provide at least one original document from each of the 3 categories below:
1. Proof of Birth: Birth Certificate (cannot be commemorative birth certificate) or Proof of Age Card or Passport
2. Proof of Signature: Centrelink card or Health Care Card or Student ID (with signature) or Bank Card (with signature)
3. Proof of Current Address: Centrelink card or Health Care Card or Bank Statement (less than 1 year old) or Electricity Bill (less than 1 year old) or ATO letter (less than 1 year old)
NOTE: You cannot use the same documentation for categories 2 and 3 – two different documents are required.

Students must be aged 16 or older.

Course runs subject to minimum numbers. A full refund will be provided if the class is cancelled by TAFE SA.

  • - Minimum age 16.
    - Participants must have a good understanding of the English language and an ability to read, write and speak in English.

Short Course Delivery Locations Some short courses can provide accreditation for industry-specific registration, while others merely provide skills and knowledge in the subject area. Concession prices are available for some courses.
