Description
This short course is designed for food safety auditors who require 40 hours of food microbiology or for those who want to expand their knowledge in this area.
The following topics will be covered:
- Intrinsic and extrinsic properties of foods
- Food pathogens
- Seafood microbiology
- Meat and egg microbiology
- Dairy microbiology
- Viruses
- Food testing
Must wear closed shoes for practical sessions and hair must be tied back if longer than shoulder length.
